The beautiful waters are protected by the marine reserve “Regno di Nettuno”.
On the northern side of Ischia there is a deep underwater canyon where you can sometimes observe cetaceans like dolphins and whales.
Not far from there, there is the Aragonese Castle. A few miles east bound, on the mainland, stands Baia. Here, in coordination with one of the diving center of the area, you can immerse yourself in a Roman archaeological underwater site.
